How to make ceramic E-Max crowns/bridges/veneers / inlays:
The AP-Denta clinic uses one of the most advanced digital technologies in the field of ceramic restorations - the Planmeca intraoral scanner and CAD/CAM technology.

These technologies have significant advantages:
1. Convenience and comfort for the patient. Measurements from the teeth are made without traditional casts, and therefore the patient does not experience unpleasant sensations and gag reflex associated with the casts.
2. Intraoral scanning allows you to achieve higher accuracy than traditional casts.
Stages of making a crown / veneer / inlay (ceramic restoration):
- The doctor prepares the necessary tooth in a certain way.
- Next, the scanner takes digital impressions, which are displayed on the computer screen as a 3D model of teeth.
- Models are sent over the network to the dental laboratory.
- A technician on a computer simulates the restoration on the required tooth.
- Then a special milling machine saws out this restoration from a block of pressed ceramics.
- When the restoration is ready, the technician performs staining to match the color of the natural teeth.
- The restoration is delivered to the clinic and the doctor fixes it on the tooth with a composite.
All the time of making the crown, the tooth is covered with a temporary plastic crown/veneer / tab. The patient does not walk with a sharpened tooth!
